25.1 New Sound

In this task, students will learn the sound /g/ as in guy.

This is another stop phoneme (like /t/ and /d/). Make sure you do not stop at the arrow under the sound, and take care to make as little of a vowel sound after it as possible. It should be /g/ not /gŭh/.

25.3 The Slow-Fast Game

This is the first task in which students segment and blend words that have initial consonant blends. In this case, they are blends of two continuous phonemes. There are no stop phonemes in this task.

25.5 Word Reading

This task introduces smaller dots and arrows beneath each sound.

25.6 Story Reading

This task uses smaller arrows between lines of a story. They are phased out entirely in the next cycle.
