In this task, the onsets are /d/, /th/, and /r/. All words will rhyme with /ā/.
This task introduces reading words with initial stop phonemes that are voiced, like dad.
The script for the first word in this task is different than the rest. Make sure to follow it carefully to continue to support students as they learn to read words that begin with stop phonemes.
