37.1 New Sound

In this task, students will learn the sound /n/ as in snide.

37.3 The Slow-Fast Game

This task returns to segmenting and blending words that have initial consonant blends that are composed of a continuous phoneme followed by a stop phoneme. Except for the first word stem, the instructor will not tell students the word before saying it slowly, and the instructor will not say it slowly with them before they try on their own.

37.4 Rhyming

In this task, the onsets are /th/, /d/, and /r/. All words will rhyme with air.

37.5 Word Reading

37.6 Story Reading

The new passage in this task introduces smaller boxes between words. The boxes will soon be phased out entirely.
