The Horse Ride — Cycle 82+

Summary:

Aunt Gale helps Tiff realize her dream of riding a horse.  Tiff commands the horse to go fast, failing to realize at first that a horse has feelings just like her. When the horse slows down at last, Tiff understands that a horse is a partner to be cared for. The two ride together as a team back to Aunt Gale.

Full Text:

Aunt Gale let tiff take the horse for a ride.

Tiff jumped on and said, "Let's go!"

But the horse went slow. Tiff said, "Go fast!"

The horse ran.  Tiff held on tight.

Tiff said, "Whoa horse! Go slow!"

Tiff can see that the horse needs to rest.

She led it to the river.  Gulp! Gulp!

Tiff patted the horse and said, "Let's get back."

Aunt Gale asked, "Was it fun?"

"Even though I was mean at the start, this horse is a real friend," said Tiff.
