Summary:
Tiff tells Tim that airplanes shrink the whole planet. He doesn't believe her at first, but when the plane is high up in the sky, the whole world does look itty bitty! Dad calms him down by telling him that the plane will set everything back to normal when it lands. Tim is happy to be back on the ground!
Full Text:
Page 1) The family got in that airplane to go on a big trip. Tim tugged on Tiff's sleeve and asked, "What is it like to be on a plane?"
Page 2) Tiff said, "When you get in a plane, it casts a spell that shrinks the planet until it is itty bitty."
Page 3) Tim crossed his arms and said, "No way. You are just tricking me, Tiff!"
Page 4) Tim sat next to Tiff on the plane. He peered out and said, "See, Tiff? Not a single thing has shrunk."
Page 5) The airplane picked up speed and went up in the sky.
Page 6) Tiff tapped Tim and said, "Take a peek, little brother." The planet seemed to be itty bitt. Tim was shocked!
Page 7) He started to cry and cry. Dad asked, "What is the matter, Tim?"
Page 8) Tim wept and said, "The airplane made the entire planet itty bitty!"
Page 9) Dad said, "Have no fear, Tim. The plane will cast another spell that will set the planet back to the correct size."
Page 10) Tim got off the plane and said, "Can we take a car back home? I do not want to mess with the planet so much!"
